Hi Guys
Popeyepete and Sydrob, I will be Down next Saturday morning and Will bring My Island Hopper Complete with Dual Transmitter's and Buddy System So you can have a go at Flying if you like.

Steve Smile
Thanks Steve, would love to mate, i done some tinkering with my Island Hopper, the motor gets stinking hot though? Not sure why?
I'll bring my one down as well after i have fixed it, as i ripped off the whole nose this arvo trying to land.
Hopefully by Saturday, i'll have my DX6i. (Awaiting the Minister of Finance's approval)

Cheers Pete
Pete, I can really recommend Samste-Steve's Hopper - he's made a few upgrades to the stock setup and when he let me fly it last summer it was really good value. It's got plenty of power and aerobatic performance - would be a good idea to see what battery+ESC+motor combination he has and consider something similar for yours.
Steve
Hi Guys Hopefully the Weather is Good This Weekend For Flying and That the winds Settle Down.
I will be Flying Saturday Only and will be There Bright and Early With My Quiet Flying Machines.
As I mentioned Before, I will bring down my Island Hopper for anyone wanting to give it a go, or maybe even my Trojan if you like on my New Custom built Spectrum Buddy System Transmitter.

A bit of carnage is always present on the first day of a meet:

BUT!

The EAGLE HAS MAIDENED!

Also had the sheer pleasure of a flyover by 2 P51's from Melbourne enroute to Williamtown:

The Temora Spitfire then joined up for a 3 Merlin high speed flyby. You have never heard anything so wonderful. They were literally 30ft above my head flat out (I was on the Runway)

What a beautiful picture the P51's and the Spitfire flying together make. Keep the pics coming.........and what about the Eagle in flight!!!.............just awsomeSmileSmileSmileSmile
Thanks Steve for the fly of the Trojan today, went home all buzzing and took out the Island Hopper and i flew it like a pro (well almost). Took off and landed three times with no carnage, doing loops and rolls, albeit was all over the park but got better towards the end of the flight. The confidence from today really helped.
Just now need to kit up with a proper Tx and Trojan.

Pete
Your Welcome Pete i Enjoyed It too and More than Happy to do it as that's whats it all about everyone to have some Fun and it is Addictive Flying and Great Fun.
It helps a lot and can save you lots of money Too when you have can do some Buddy Flying to get some Practice, as Flight Sim Is Good but nothing Beats the Real Thing.
Won't be down Tomorrow Guys, but will be There again Next Saturday and will bring down the Trainer TX for anyone to have a go on the Trojan or Island Hopper if they like Too.

Hope All Are Having Fun at Temora and Air show and Guys Have Fun Tomorrow At The Field (Weather Should Be Perfect,It's Not Fair)

Hey Garry, I have permission to come down for a short time Sun morn. yay. I have fixed the 500 tail issue. I hope you are bringing your 600!!
Darren and I get back from Temora around 3pm this afternoon.
Great weekend really thought I had died and gone to heaven Smile
Both Kieran and myself took lots of photos, I myself took over 600 just today.
Lots of editing to do then will post some of the better ones.
I'm seeing Kieran tomorrow as I uploaded my Friday & Saturday shots onto his laptop
down in Temora and he will give them back to me then.
Weather in Temora was freezing cold Thursday/Friday and Saturday. Today was the best day but
certainly not shorts weather.
Great to here you guys had a good weekend.
Hope to see some more shots of Darrens F18 in flight, the few posted looked fantastic.
Shame about your weekend weather but here in good old Toongabbie the flying conditiond were almost perfect all weekend. Didnt have a big turnout as expected with Temora and Williamstown both on.
With that said flying conditions spoilt those of use here in Sydney, I could have used a little head wind though. Better tell Kevin to get some spoilers for the PC9 because they do not like stopping at all. No major carnage although Colin completely lost sight of one of his jets and after some recon a few streets back buy himself and Steve found it intact with no damage. Can you believe that?
I even had half a dozen confidence buildng flights with my T Rex 600 thanks to the a little brain storming between Andrew and myself (see video)
Hi Guys,

I will be flying late tomorrow as we have a Hen's Party @ home.

Oh my gawd Ingo ... if there's a Hen's Party on at home, then why aren't you heading off to fly and leave 'em to it mate? You won't be able to hear yourself think. Don't tell me they've got you providing the "entertainment"!!!
Good luck mate, see you at the field Wink
Well, the good news looks ... good!
Willy thinks it should be "clear prop and chocks away" for both days ...
