OK now fixed the typo.
Have you mastered your RC Tx with its computer based programming, think you are up to the next challenge? Have a look at this:

Hi guys,
I have a Rave 450 heli up for sale. I have flown it maybe 6-10 flights and not crashed it, the guy I bought it from was to scared to get it more than 6 inches off the ground a couple of times. So this is virtually new. $450

Heli comes with: Scorpion motor/ESC
JR digital servos
Futaba 520 gyro
spare blades and canopy
Spektrum AR6100
2 x 4S 2200 lipo's
various other spares also.

I have a couple of 500 size heli's which I love flying but, this 450 just doesn't do it for me. Some info for you:

Hi guys,
I was hoping to take my rebuilt Pulse XT up tomorrow if the weather at Penrith is favourable, but I have not been able to buy a prop at my usual places (Ultimate Hobbies, Hobbies in the Hills or RC Hobbies).
Does anyone know who might stock APC props, I am after a 13x6.5E?
I am about to call Kellets but wasn't keen on the drive just for a prop (given the weather might be crap tomorrow).
Alternatively would someone in the club be willing to sell me one if you have a spare.

Thanks
Chris M

Well, I finally caved in and decided to get a Blade mCPx. So now I have a big heli and very small one. All flybarless for the record!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqunygaQl...r_embedded

Ever since that guy showed up at the field with a new one in the box (I maidened it for him with Mick's DX7). It was a heap of fun. Crash it and it doesn't hurt the wallet.

I have had it 24 hours and crashed it about 5 times. Even repaired the swash ball link with a dress maker's pin and CA. Cripes everything is small. Doing inverted flips indoors doesn't end well... in a house anyway. Lost a tail rotor and a main blade link. It comes with spares (but not enough I suspect Lol )

Love it !!!

Only issue is that it needs a Spektrum TX. I got the one with the DX4e inside. What a load of garbage. I have had to rebind the heli about 16 times. A DX4E issue I learn . Next person upgrading their DX6i to something better (Futaba? Biggrin), I have first dibbs.

D.

Gday all,

I noticed this "Warning Level 0%" on the RHS of my profile whenever I post..What does it mean?

I thought it might have been a "Oh he's one of those helicopter pilots" thing, but Dave H doesn't have one....Am I just lucky?? Smile

Or has someone been talking to my wife???!?

Was looking at Flickr and found this photo..

I thought it would be a great challenge for all the home builders to build the largest flying plane out of depron. We'd need to get some basic rules but basically free format. Could this be the next America's cup?

C'mon you creative home builders. See how big you can make a plane that flies -- like the one in the photo !

Hi Guys,

Nothing to spectacular... Except when Kieren flew his 'Stryker' jet the other weekend.. Just as he was landing, slight incident and the nose cone came off.. Check these photo's out .. The entire club that was present, assisted in the attempted recovery.. Leet

I was the ONLY one left standing in the field.. (Am I as bad as that Princess Dianna photographer that didn't help but went for the shot instead?) Rolleyes

Great support guys.. Well done.. Thumbup

Crashed my Stryker into the trees last week and missing parts of the wing and other parts of the plane. Sorry to see as it was one of my favourite planes. Anyone got a second hand Stryker C modified or stock standard that they might want to sell?

Hi guys
Just wanted to draw your attention to a sneeky little
HK trick that has caught me out.
I usually use the HK 929MG Digital servos on my foamies.
They are a good cheap little servo.
Hobby King have now changes these to analog servos and kept the
same 929MG name.
If you want the original 929MG digital servos they are now just called
HK Digital Servos.
When you look at the product codes the analogue is CS929MG
and the digital is DS929MG
Lucky I only bought a couple this time so I'm not too worried but I would have been a bit pissed if I had bought a lot.
