Wow that is Big !! It's an X-8 ??

It should fly like a beautie!! I'm looking forward to seeing it in the air!!

What motor lipo and ESC are you going to use to power it ?

I picked one of these up from ebay (super and cheaper) the other day.
Looks like a nice model and reasonably light and will pack up into a smaller space than a model with a conventional tractor lay out.
It will need bigger wheels tho'

It's a decent size at 1.5m span it should be able to carry some gear.
flying weight is suposidly 2.4Kg

Heres some pics stolen from the sellers add.

I've long had a particular fascination with the flying wing. However, I've never actually owned an RC flying wing. I decided to fix this deficiency. After un-boxing today's arrival, it occurs to me I may have overcompensated slightly.

(no, that is not an ultra micro Stinson)

I am keen to get some new lipos as i have several on there Last legs was wondering if its worthwhile doing a big group order so we all save on shipping ? As all the Good lipos are at the International Hobbyking Site.
But I guess depends on if anyone needs new lipos at The Moment and if its worthwhile.

I have finally organised myself to get a sim and started to play with it. I have three main questions.

1. So far I am having difficulty landing. This difficulty comes in two parts. First I have so far been completely unable to line up the approach correctly - I seem to be about 2 to 3 landing strips too far away. Any suggestions how can I line up better?

2. When landing itself I am landing fairly hard and bouncing back up a bit. Is that too much speed coming in, too hard a drop or a mix of both?

3. Assuming I can fix both of those and take off, loop around and land smoothly is that the point where I am ready for a trainer (I am looking at the T-28)?

I have bought in bulk 6mm and 3mm for my indoor kits, so I'm happy to sell in small quantity's
I'm keeping the price simple, 1000mm x 350mm, $10. 3 or 6 mm.
Also 1000x700mm $20.
Its pickup at Mccoy late Saturday mornings.

If any one is interested in a good build I can cut out the Extra 330 for $30. its on 2 sheets of 6mm.

My version of the milled Index3 is $50 for depron only and $70 with the carbon bits. Its for pilots who want a precise flying indoor model. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1591771

For building tips and a look at the Extra 330 have a look here:-

Happy building.
