Maybe she can have it for her birthday next month
Again, free to a good home ...
1 x Miniswift Wing
1 x Miniswift Tailplane (horizontal stabiliser)
... these are just the bare foam parts, no servos or other hardware. Would be useful if you own a Miniswift that could do with replacement of either/both of these parts.
These were originally graciously given to me by Kieran, but are surplus to requirements and are on offer to a club member who can use 'em. If you'd like these, then please let me know when you're next going to be at the <strike>swamp</strike> field so that I can make a point of packing them into the car.
Very helpful to the complete beginner ... two E-Sky pretend 4-channel transmitters with a copy of FMS (a free RC flight simulator).
Junior and I are having a clean-out. You can have both my mode-2 and his mode-1 fake transmitter. You can then work out which way your brain is wired up, and throw away the mode-1 TX
FMS accompanies the fake transmitters on a CD-ROM, but they both also work seamlessly with the excellent "RC Desk Pilot" which is another freely available download. Once you've given this a run for a couple of weeks you'll know whether you want something more serious to sink your teeth into - although Junior managed to get to solo flying standard very quickly just using FMS.
If you can use these, then you're welcome to them - just let me know when you're going to be at the field next so that I can make a point of packing them into the car!
check it out guys hi tech! ... lol

Hi Paul and Kevin and anyone else tuning in.
I thought I would start a thread so we can discuss ideas and equipment options for the 3 big EDF jets we are all about to start building.
OK I'll start,
I have got most of my equipment now and thought I would let you know what I am using that way we may be able to assist each other with various installation, setup and flight issues.
Attached are some shots of my Platinum Pro 120 ESC and the optional programming card I purchased from Extreme that they reccommended for the Stumax fan setup we are all running. If you guys buy the same ESC you are welcome to borrow my card anytime to adjust perameters on your ESC.
You will notice in the top photo that there are 2 leads coming out of the ESC.
The long one plugs into your reciever for throttle control the other one plugs into the programming card for touch button program changes.
I am currently looking at a variety of servo options but am leaning toward the Turnigy and will let you know what I deceide.
I can't wait for the future, it rocks!

Hi All,
Just a quick one this time. It's been recommended that I get 2 x TURNIGY Plush 30amp Speed Controller for my Bronco, however, Hobbyking is out of stock of these (seems to be usual for HK now) so after some browsing I've come across 3 possible replacements and they are in stock. The first one is a HobbyKing Red Brick 30A ESC, the second is H-KING 35A Fixed Wing Brushless Speed Controller and the final one is a TowerPro W30A Brushless Speed Controller.
Would any of these be a suitable replacement for the Turnigy ESC or should I wait until they come into stock... or maybe even look elsewhere...
Thanks
Mick
