LOL Thanks Gazz. Does look a bit cartoon like. It's a concept plane someones idea of a future aircraft. If it flies even a third as good as this I'll be happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wiwv19SyL...

Great work Mick. I've downloaded and installed in Phoenix as per your instructions. It was very easy to do and only took a couple of minutes. I selected our field as my flying site and she loaded up c...

Well we may be able to work it out. There does not appear to be any vehicles on the field so I reckon they walked in. If we go up and look in the street near the gate we can see some cars. Does anyone...

Thanks Mick, Sounds like you have done a great job with limited equipment. Looking forward to seeing the finished article.

Never mind Mick it's still a pretty cheap way of getting a $179 simulator(Ultimate Hobbies) or $149 + Postage (ModelFlight). Let's hope it works ok. I've already installed the sim software and updated...

If everyone wants to wait, I have ordered 1 of these dongles today. If it works ok I will have Phoenix V3 for $22. may be a week or so before the dongle arrives.

Hi Guys, Sorry to bring this up, but after discussion with Darren today, we think we need to remind everyone of our agreement with Parramatta Council. We have told them that we will not fly before 8...

No Steve I've bought bulk servo lead wire and plugs and sockets. Peter, I've got crimpers like that but they are not the correct ones. Darren has sent me a couple of emails with links to where I can ...

Most Saturdays I can't make it down. Will be there Sunday though. Just wondering, whatever happened to the rule of not flying before 8am Saturdays and 9am Sundays? I'm assuming we are only using the q...

I've decided to make my own servo extensions and "Y" leads as the local HS are so expensive. Hobby King are much better but sometimes I just don't want to wait. :) Anyway, does anyone know where I can...

Thanks for the link Steve, Will investigate and see what I think of it.

I'll see what sort of carnage I can create tomorrow then. At this stage my sick wife is on the improve so signs are looking good that I'll be there in the morning. I'll probably only fly the mustang a...

I don't use the stock prop adapter on my PZP51 anymore but from memory is that not just a threaded screw with a nut holding it on? If not, then I don't know without looking at it. Sorry

After the rain we've had today I reckon it will be pretty soft and wet tomorrow. Spoke to kev and he doesn't feel that it's worthwhile him going down tomorrow as he will have to bring Ryan with him if...

Thanks Victor, Yes she has been fibreglassed in most places but not entirely. Everything forward of the engine intakes, entire bottom of fuselage, wings, horizontal stabs and elevators are fibreglasse...

Cool Video I liked it

Personally I can see no difference between using UHU Por or UHU Creativ. Both of them take exactly the same amount of time to dry and both have that rubbery feeling when you are sanding. Paul

Just a tip for anyone using depron. UHU Por adhesive is the recommend glue to use but this is not always readily available and I think cost about $9 a tube when it is. I have found that UHU Creativ(co...

Looks good Owen, Hope she flies as well as she looks. Just be careful with "SuperCheaper" models as both Ingo and myself have had a few bad airframes from them. Anyway don't take that as me being mean...

Look how many people it took to carry the wreckage. It must have been pretty big

You have me worried with your KFM findings as I have used a KFm4 profile on my scratchbuilt edf bandit. This will have both flaps and ailerons so I'm hoping that they will be effective. Guess I'll fin...
