Early morning flying
#1

Hi Guys,
Sorry to bring this up, but after discussion with Darren today, we think we need to remind everyone of our agreement with Parramatta Council.
We have told them that we will not fly before 8am on Saturday mornings and 9am on Sunday mornings.
This was done to ensure a harmonious relationship with local residents,
in particular those who live ajacent to the field.
I've noticed that we have had a few members request access to the field earlier than these times and whilst it is understandable that it was to try to overcome the hot weather, it does represent a possible problem.
If council receive any complaints, or observe anyone flying earlier than our agreed times, they may well cancel our agreement and we may end up losing our field.
We have no problems with anyone opening the gates early, or people arriving early to setup for the day but please do not fly before our agreed time.
Again sorry to be the spoil sport, but we do have to protect our agreement.

cheers

Thanks for the info, Paul.

I for one, wasn't aware of the times, so I'm glad you posted this. At least I can sleep in a bit now. Smile
