Dropped in to the PRCAC field around 1.30pm. No-one there and the conditions were pretty good for flying the helis (apart from the gusting southerly). Did a pre-flight check after all the adjustments...

I'll be flying this weekend. Hope the field dries out so we can all get together. Regardless, it wont stop the heli boys!

You have definitely bent, at least, the feathering shaft (the shaft between the two main rotor grips). They don't survive tip strikes like the one you had. I'd also suggest the main shaft is bent too....

6.40am and it seems the rain might cancel the day's plans. The weather forecast seems to have been reversed. Showers all day. Bummer.
