I flew my heli today with the on board camera. When I reviewed the footage at home, the extent of the damage to the field was evident. (I may post the vid in the 'videos" forum) It was in a bad way. ...

It was a really windy day on Saturday, about 10 to 20 Kts. The heli was ok but I was working like a one-armed paper hanger! Some trail bike riders seem to think it's fun to tear up our field, here ...

Kizza, Mate I'm really sorry about your heli. I can only guess the horrible gut feeling you had when she went belly up. I'm amazed that you were able to find it. Was anything salvageable?

Kieran, my 2c worth. get a 500 (or 600 if you can afford it) They are much more stable and "easy" to fly (It's all relative) :) That way if your flymentor is wrecked, you won't need another one. Cheer...

Gaz, make sure you get "servo slow" for those retracts please. A nice, slow extension is a pleasure to behold. :)
