Hi Steve,
I would have joined you only I have pre-ordered a PNP the day I saw it on the Model Flight site (early July). These airframe kits must have only just come on-line as I initially looked for these before ordering the PNP.
I fully expect we will have a squadron of these babies at Parra Flight.

Anyway why would you be after one of these given that you have a nice Grey Nurse MkVIII in your hanger? Oh I suppose you can never have too many Spit's.

On the retracts for this plane (EFLG100) look to be a servoless system of similar size to those sold by HK - here's hoping.

No worries Chris - you're right, can't have too many Spitfires. The Hyperion one is very heavy and I think it will need way more space to fly comfortably. The PZ offering looks too good to pass up ... again.
Yes, I think the HK servoless retracts could be made to work. I guess we'll see Smile

Bad news Kieran - their status for the Spitfire MkIX replacement airframes is now "Pre-order" which is no good, since it holds up delivery. Hopefully someone else can join in instead of me and I'll be able to participate next time.

Cant comment on the L39 Frank, but if you are after a sweet flying PNP jet, that is a lot cheaper, I can recommend the Alpha, I had one and it was a pretty nice stable flyer. For 80 bucks you wont get a better more predictable EDF

Arrived home today and almost missed the courier. Good news for John Hale, his VQA039 VQ Models Magic .32 Pylon Racer Model Plane arrived but still waiting on other 2.
