I have had a busy time of late and have been largely out of the country hence no flying time available. I have your parts, we tried to post them however A/Post got narky when we tried to post due to the thickness and didn't have any boxes in stock. I have just checked the weather forcast, Saturday 22km/h westerly in the morning and Sunday 7km/h westerly in the morning. That's made my decision easy - I'll be flying Sunday, although I may drop in on Saturday for a while.

The wind was a challenge for the breave few but quite exciting to fly in Smile. I tried my PT20 with 6S by serialling two 3S 2200 packs. It flew awesome with only a touch of throttle!! I measured the current draw and tach settings before take off and half throttle comfortably produced the same rpm as full throttle under 3S but at half the current. Smile. Unfortunately, full throttle (which is too tempting to use) drew 62A.

As you can imagine, a little earlier that I expected, the motor cut out and I had to bring it in for an emergency deadstick landing - perfectly I might say Smile Smile. I was very stoked with the 6S performance but think that 4S will be quite adequate for this model. I was even more stoked that my emergency landing went very well, rolling in on wheels and there weren't big repairs to be done. The emegrency was later identified to be because of low voltage cutout by the speedy with one of the pack dropping to 11V and the other just a shade higher.

A great fun day but we cut it short as the wind was only growing stronger. The "one more flight" was abandoned before it tuenrd into a repair task Wink.

Yes folks another fine weekend is upon us, and I cant wait because I haven't been able to fly for the last 2 weeks.
So break out the battery chargers and charge up those lipos.
I will be flying both Saturday and Sunday this weekend and will be down at the field both days between 8.30 and 9.00 to open up.
Finished my Fun Jet finally (thanks Darren for the loan of the Z pliers. How good are they!)
