3d aerobatics
#5

I really like this plane, its fantastic to make it at under 100 gm, my lightest 3d is > 200 gm. I am still trying to work out how you did it, is it your own design? Is that some sort of computer controlled saw in the photo that cut everything from 1 sheet of a special board? How was the covering applied? I am impressed that it does not need lots of spars supporting the wings and tailplane like most indoor 3d models.

I have been exercising with several 3ds in local parks at daybreak, with locations moving ever closer to home as the lockdown tightens. I am working a new model, the HK Ripples, and it turns out to be above expectations in terms of lightness and stiffness of wings and tail surfaces.
