I had an absolute ball at the field today!!!
I ran out of batteries, did great take-offs and several very nice landings (6 or more of each). The weather was excellent and the bright sun and heat scared most people off early so srl and I had the air to ourselves .
Many thanks to Chris for hanging around and assisting in my flights and locking up after us.
One minor downside that I hope one of you more local the field might be able to help me with. I think I left a 7AH SLA brick where I parked my car. When I got home and unpacked, I couldn't find it and I don't think I left it in the middle of the field. If you have the opportunity to pass the field, I would appreciate a look and if it is there, grab it and return it next year.
Today was my last fly forthe year and an excellent way to finish off. I hope you all have a great Christmas and I look forward to seeing you on the field next year (bring on those bronze wings! 8-) )
