Go the extra thrust and simplicity of a prop for now. EDF's can come later when your comfortably tossing a fighter around. All the mods and chance work seems like a lot to not have enough thrust and b...

We had beautiful weather on both days at Cudal, The F15 didn't fly but we did alot of testing and found a few bugs to be fixed. I think I secretly impressed a few of the Jet flyers with my Skyfun outr...

If it were a normal Stryker, CA Hinges might be ok but for your speeds, go with 4 pivot hinges in each control surface, make sure they're really glued in well ;) A trick I learned from Darren is cover...

Confirmed! Field is very damp and it's a bit windy. If it stays windy and sunny, it should be ok for tomorrow but the water was above the Concrete last night.

I think it'll be a bit damp. I'll be down tomorrow

Yeah, they are a bit exxy but very much worth it as they've used some quality parts. I hope to make it down for a little bit tomorrow but am targetting mainly Sundays for flying at the moment.

First up, excellent plane choice to learn with, they are very sweet flyers! I wouldn't recommend either battery you picked! One of the ones is for RC cars and the other is a bit over the top price wis...

Depends on the Amp draw, the esc's will sometimes burst the amps and then back off to maximum rating. Then again it could be a dodgy cell.

Looking good! Another vote for a semi scale H.P 42!

Motors aren't loud, its the prop!

Why not first just try and stiffen them with paddle pop sticks or some small carbon rod. I wouldn't want to be cutting holes further outboard on the wing and moving the servo

Sounds like you've hit the torque limits of either your servo's, control rods or control surfaces. Be very wary that you haven't stripped a servo doing this as it could be fatal later on. Craig had th...

Keep in mind the Supercub wants a nimh battery, gearbox & brushed motor up the front, You need a larger motor to compensate for balance.

Shhh, he doesn't want rocket performance! But they're your best bet. Swing a nice large but shallow prop and it'll fly forever!
