Blue Mountains Bicentenial Flyover

Working at Penrith I often get to see local papers and the Roulettes formation caught my eye. This is promoted as the biggest flyover ever with up to 200 planes involved including the Roulettes. Copied & pasted downloaded details as follows. Anybody interested in joining me for the mornings viewing?

Organisers of the Blue Mountains Bicentenary Flyover on May 25 have finalised 11 LIVE viewing sites for the public to watch the historic aviation event that will commemorate the achievements of Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth 200 years ago.

Community groups, schools, local businesses and the event organisers have all assisted in the process to select the viewing sites.

Entry to all sites is FREE with tethered Hot Air Balloon rides available at Melrose Park in Katoomba and Glenbrook Park, Glenbrook.

2. Glenbrook Park, Glenbrook
3. Faulconbridge Public School, Faulconbridge
4. Lawson Public School, Lawson
5. Blue Mountains Grammar School, Wentworth Falls
6. The Carrington Hotel (Chimney), Katoomba
7. Melrose Park, Katoomba North
8. The Gardens, Blackheath
9. Mount Victoria Memorial Park, Mount Victoria
10. Hartley Historic School, Hartley
11. O’Connell Avenue Cafe & Store, O’Connell

I am told the flight path takes them almost right over the top of PEMAC Wayne, ...did you not get the email?
