What else to do? Build something from the box of goodies just waiting for days like today..
What a fiddly little plane to assemble, the rear pull/pull surfaces was a bitch. (Used fine piano wire as apposed to the shit string they supplied.) And the push rods....hands like a surgeon!
Equipment Set-up
Motor - Park250 2200kv (I think i chose the wrong motor here)
ESC - Plush 10a
Servo - DS65HB Digital Servo
Batt - Zippy Flightmax 800mah 2S1P 20C
Final weight of plane is only 280grams.
As i only have a 6x4 prop available the power doesn't feel like it there. Might have to go upto a 7x3...
Maiden tommorow hopefully.
