Well as Gazz Mentioned there nice Planes, and you would be aware that i have the Red version of the nemesis and love it.
The Trick to the nemesis is to keep motor, lipo light reducing tip stall and better flight characteristics.

edited - Removed my picture of 3d / sport / aerobatic plane depending on how you fly it.

This post is for Aerobatic aircraft not 3D, we are looking for high speed aircraft between 1.6 and 1.8 meter wingspan with medium to high wing loading that need to flown fast.
Personally If you want a good high speed airframe that has proven performace and flies like a friggin champion you cant go past the Seagull PC9!

Thanks guys, they all look great and for me is a toss-up between the HK Air Racing Nemesis & the E-flite Advance. 2 things lean me towards the Advance 1. e-flite & HK are chalk & cheese in that order (and only $30 difference). 2. the advance is promoted as a The Perfect Transition to Sport Planes. (Little steps being my current philosophy). 3. Wasn't it your Neeisis that disappeared over the factories Steve (OK so I can't count)

These are fast models that won't be too hard to land but they will fairly slip along!!

Here’s a link to the shoe string from philshobbyshop I reckon postage would be about 30-40 USD I’ve brought ARFs from him before and his postage price is AWSOME !!

Here is a nice one Wayne, although it might be a a touch bigger than you want

http://www.hangar-9.com/Products/Default...ID=HAN5170

This one is probably a little more realistic, even though it is still not a small plane

OK ... Now we are on the money... This one is a good starter... and I've even got the perfect motor for it that I will sell you at mates rates, you can trust me ... I know a DoctorWink

They look like nice machines Gazz, I'd be tempted to go for the middle one.

Especially if you can get the recomended all up weight of 2.7-2.8 Kg it would be a super nice flyer !!

It would be dosile on the controls, reasonably fast and slow up nicely for landing Too!!
