WOW, they went quick Smile

If any body missed out, not to worry, I have another 20-30 here that I can drop buy.

I hope you all enjoy your new found sense of power.

If any of them are dead, let me know, and I can get you another one.

Cheers Dennis - it does appear that demand is still enthusiastic. You're going to be a popular bloke at the field as time goes on Smile

We can tee-up another delivery later if that suits you. In fact, we've got our AGM next Sunday at 11:00am and you'd be welcome to attend that as an observer if it fits in with your plans (there'll probably be a presence at the field on Saturday too, if that suited you better).

In any case - thanks again for going out of your way to make these deliveries for us. I'm sure your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Since I now have a (actually 2) decent high output supply, I ordered and just received a new 4 port 400w Turnigy Charger from the AUS warehouse. Thought about getting one of these for a while but there was always the issue of supplying enough power to it. I'm about to do the mod on one of the supplies and try it out on the new Charger. Up till now it's always taken hours to charge the dozen or so batteries I take down to the field. The 4 port Charger should speed that up considerably. Thanks again Dennis.
P.S. impressed with the delivery time from the Aus warehouse. Only placed the order on Monday and received the Charger and 3 Lipos in 2 Days!

Good to see that they are being put to good use.

I probably won't be able to get to the field this weekend (gotta work Sat, and Sun being fathers day.....) but I'll try to get there the weekend after and drop some more off (still have around 20 at home). Just found out that there are another 17 servers ready for decomm at work, so that is another 34 supplies......

Glad they are all working out.

How many more are still needed? I think I have about 20 left at home ( Frown my 60Kw charger is now only 20Kw), so I need to work out if I can get some more and how many from the next decomm lot.

I need to find time to get to the field again...

I think it is safe to say that there is still demand for several. I know I got the one that I asked for, but I was hoping for another one once the mad rush had eased off a bit.

Radio: DX8, Mode 1
Blu-Baby (decided to go green and hug a tree, in repairs)
Parkzone T-28 Trojan (pilot looks asleep but plane ready to go)
E-Flite UMX Beast (Barrel roll you say? But I did 10 in a row while you were asking)
Parkzone T-28 Trojan Ultra-Micro (terrorising the local workplace in the name of more practice)
Parkzone Stryker Ultra-Micro (ready to take fingers off willing launchers)

Plan on coming out on Saturday (hopefully the weather will be nice to us) and I'll bring 20 or so supplies.
Any left at the end of the day will be left for others to collect later on.

A VERY BIG WARM THANK YOU TO YOU DENNIS .
My 2 power supplies are now working , after the conversion . i just purchased 2 accucell 8S 150w chargers , and am currently using both of them on the one power supply charging 2 x 6S 3000mah Lipo batteries at 3 amps each . And it is working perfectly , not getting hot and it quiet .
the other accucel 6s 50w CHARGERS have a 350 watt power supply running them currently charging 2x 3S 4000MAH hour chargers at 4 amps . these chargers will do the 3s at 4 amps , but not the 6s at 3 amps , this is the reason i purchased the bigger chargers and your power supplies for the 6 s batteries .
which means i now can charge 2 big batteries and 2 smaller ones , and thats without using the SPARE powert supply as you gave me 2 60kw power supplies . Smile

My pleasure guys. Still got a few left, so if anyone has missed out, please let me know.

Was reading on rcgroups today about the new iCharger 4010 and it's need for some serious input power (up to 50v). I then had a look in the storeroom and saw 2 big Cisco (6500) switches with 2x2525w (42.6v @ 55.5 A) PSU's in each one. Hmmmmm, wondering when we will be decommissioning those.

G'day Dennis,
You wouldn't have a couple more of these floating about by any chance?

Cheers

Jason, Pretty sure I've got a couple of the 1st type of charger - It was less amperage, around 60 or 70 and had the single fan. Couldn't find the thread about it, I can dig them out of the garage if you want one or both.

That would be greatly appreciated if you can spare them
I want to connect two to make a 24v supply and I found an article on the net about how to go about it
