I was There Today and its very Damp and soggy under feet, it needs no more Rain, and the 5 min downpour we had early this afternoon didn't do it any good.

Lets Hope it gets better for the Weekend.

For absolutely no reason other than saying...... Na na na na naaa
I flew for 3 hours on Monday and 4 hours today in what could only be descrided as perfect conditions.
I was going to do a bit of mowing .... but then I realised that flying conditions were perfect, so I thought screw that, and burnt another half dozen batteries.
Ahhh the serenity.........Love it !!!!!

No mate, sorry I can drop buy after my T Box get delivered. Been waiting for it for 6 weeks and the useless morons are trying to deliver it again.... tomorrow, that is if the brain dead neanderthal from AAE can find our street. 3 times lucky they say.

BTW, what is involved in the transformation from a yurrumevets to a smuzz? Any surgery involved etc etc?

The strip is wet but flyable
I'll be wiping the mud off my planes after dinner
The grass is still beautifully short on the strip and Gazz has done a very neat job of the surrounds

Conditions are ideal at the moment - I'm heading over with my Trojan and some batteries in about half an hour.


Edit: Spent the afternoon with KevB at the field and it was the best set of flying conditions I've seen in a very long time. The strip and the field in general is good to very-good, and there was almost no breeze at all - get your batteries charged gentlemen, a full weekend of good flying is on offer!
