Possibly if we have no Rain in the Next Week or So we may be able to Do Something with those Annoying High Reeds near Runway.
As for Field Drying out Totally if we have no more Downpours and to be able to mow old Runway Strip, i Really don't Know as these conditions have never been this bad since i been with the Club. Previous Years the Field always seem to recover from a big Downpour after two weeks of No Rain.
I would be Guessing but i would say 8 weeks if we had no Rain for all the Area to Dry out, and i would be Guessing.
Chime in anyone who may have other Thoughts.
A month of little or no rain and reasonably warm dryish weather would go a long way towards bringing things back to how they were.
but it's got to happen starting now 'cause the days are getting shorter and the weather colder and that will mean it takes a lot longer to dry up. Also Easter is traditionally the wettest time of the year in Sydney. Not that I want to pour cold water on things
But if we get a week of no rain and a good mow I'll be flying my bigger models there again. can't see why not there is enough strip to take off and land that's all one needs
