Just thought I'd show all of you who slept through
this morning's eclipse what you missed.
The moon played hide and seek with the clouds during the eclipse
but luck was with me and I managed to get a few shots.
Here is the total eclipse phase.

   

It really was a beautiful sight.

It was a shame the cloud rolled in on cue pretty much right when the eclipse started.

are you kidding . i walked out at 12.30 am and the cloud cover blanketed the whole sky !!! so i went to bed .

G'day Frank

You went to bed too early mate.
The cloud cover wasn't quite 10/10 so a good view was around from time to time.
You made it for longer then me Paul, I died at about 0115hrs. Did it clear up at all cloud wise?

No by 2:30am latest, moon was hidden behind a huge cloud and I decided to go
to bed.
I had actually been toying with the idea of setting up my 8" SCT Telescope
earlier in the day and decided to give that a miss.
If it hadn't been for Pat wanting to see the eclipse I wouldn't even have
bothered with the Camera but she called me outside when she saw the clouds were breaking up.
