Gday Drew

Helicopters don't require thrust per se by virtue of the fact that they are so ugly they repel the earth.
The above is also a fair explanation as to why only true "He Men" have the required balls (or basic stupidity) to fly them. Smile
The fixed wing tribe don't know what they are missing out on.

Wish my heli would have repelled the earth a little harder the other day...

G'day KV

As you know I share your pain.
Our problem was more a velocity vector issue as the sky seems to have been repelled in our instances.

The helicopter looked really dangerous !!
That pilot almost got unnaturally de-selected by Darwin's theory. ???

I've got a few sheets spare of 2mm if you need some for skins or smaller planes. Otherwise, I'm happy to reopen the depron order thread for another go.

Hi Drew,
I'll take 3 sheets of the 2mm Depron from you
if you have enough spare.
Going to use them to skin an Airliner.

Nice one Steve !!
I can't wait to see it fly.

Do you think it flys better in the larger size ?

The VVP would be interesting !!

There was a few 3D depron foamys I've seen on the net in 44" span
I'll have to have more of a look when I get home and a few minuets to spare

Here's one link

Hi Jason
I had another three flights today.
It flys better than the 80cm Index3. It weights 145g, up 40g or 40%. This puts a lot more strain on the U/C. The Axi is very smooth compared to the Turnagy and at 7 times the price you would want it too!
The flat prop blades feel very inefficient. I really need some new battery's to get reverse really working.
I will bring it down Saturday morning.

So - no posts on this thread since last September ... what happened?

I was looking forward to being entertained by huge ungainly machines, wobbling about in the breeze and clapping hands as they attempt to come out of a gentle dive. Could have sold tickets to that one!

Good one Steve.

How about Depron Combat. Now you could sell tickets to that!!!

I actually did a bit of a refit on my depron extra, (cut out about 6 oz of hot-melt glue)
replaced most of the damaged twisted and mushy bits with crisp new depron and gave it straighten up. It flys much better now!!

I have just the machine for depron combat, my little zero Smile
