Looking good.
By the look of the progress you've made I better
get my finger out and get cracking on the scale cockpit and radio room
areas.

In keeping with the family viewing likelihood on this site, I am wondering why you are showed us a picture of you getting a bit of tail (2nd pic).
Given the number of months you have been working on this, am wondering when we are likely to see it in the air.

I see Darren happily moving a tail section from the paint table to the work table, its rather heavy thus must be held close to the body for stabilization.

What are you seeing?

Will leave it up to the imagination of everybody who looks twice at that photo now that I have drawn attention to it. The word pleasurecraft might get a new meaning, wishful thinking could be another thought, whatever the thought, the photo gives room for a lot of imagination. The remainder of the photos certainly show progress on what will be a magnificent plane.

Any idea of the AUW?
Reply

Heavy!

There has been some smart planning however that should eliminate 5lb of lead that most other makers of this model end up using in the nose.
Reply
#54

The wing itself is probably heavier than the heaviest plane we have
flying at our club at the moment.

Yea afraid so.
Darren will probably do some taxi tests etc at McCoy but
think he will have to go to Blacktown or somewhere to fly it. Frown
