Wash everything down in distilled water if you can and then let them dry for a few days, Silica crystals or rice will help.
When this happened:
We literally hosed the dirt out of the motor and its run fine ever since.
I'd personally prefer to err on the side of slightly tail heavy, Last thing I'd want on takeoff or landing is for the nose to dig in and flip the plane. When it does come time to attempt a landing, don't forget to leave the power on and ease her in, stalling into the drink is a fine recipe for another flip
