A better RC system is coming
#31

Next time I go visit family in Broken Hill I should take my TX16S. There's areas out that way with 40km long straight roads and no elevation changes to speak of. Smile

Another observation (and note to self): When switching to Elrs receivers, worth to note the timing on the pwm outputs is slightly different (compared to Spektrum). So your servo center trim positions will be slightly different. Make note of the plane trimmed positions (original tx and rx powered on) before switching receivers.
Then set the control surfaces to the same position after switching over to Elrs RX/TX.

Likewise for throttle, need to re-learn the ESC throttle end points.
To set throttle points, (Power TX and receiver, arm, power off the receiver, set full throttle on the TX, power on receiver, wait for motor beep, then slowly lower throttle to zero) - ESC should have learned the throttle end points then.

If you don't live on the edge, you take up too much space.
