I've found a few devices to be fussy with SD cards so sometimes going bigger and better doesn't work.
Here are some of my radios. I've also added a new Taranis Access as I'm staying with OpenTX, Try upgrading to the latest Opentx 2.3.14 as it fixes something to do with the internal battery. Then also copy the latest SDcard contents over what you already have.
As you can see I have the Irange x multi module and the Jumper light, both work well with DSM2/X.

With lock down is a good time to upgrade OpenTX software in your radios and make use of new features available. Make sure that you have a standard motor kill switch set-up and that the correct fail safe is set.
In trying to upgrade a 5+ year old OpenTX radio with a old boot loader you may "brick" it. But with a few extra steps it will come back to life. Once a 2.3 Open tx is loaded upgrading to the latest is simple. The same goes for the multi module as it is upgraded using the SDCard.


I also found that some blheli_32 ESC's now support FRSky s-port telemetry. I gave it a test and it works. Just upgrade the ESC to the latest version and set the port to 24. you get voltage,RPM,Temp and current. They don't have a Ubec but are very small and efficient.


The elevator on the 6i no longer works, If anyone needs parts from it let my know. After 11 years its done OK,

Thanks for your reply. I have already upgraded to the following:

1. Firmware - opentx-tx16s-lua-en-2.3.14-otx
   
2. Multimodule - multi-stm-opentx-aetr-noinv-v1.3.1.36
   
3. SD card content - sdcard-480x272-2.3V0038
   

So  I think my radio is up to date. I am also using Companion version 2.3.14. I hope they will release 2.4 soon to get the touch screen functionality. 

The only issue that has caused that problem is the SD card. I think that card has some bad sector 'cause when I replaced it, everything went back to normal. I almost returned this radio back to the supplier.

Have you used the Ikon Flybarless System before, I was able to make it work except the governor. It looks like it does not spin the rotor blades according to the set RPM in the Ikon. I have connected the Governor input to a magnetic sensor and have mounted two magnets in the main grear of the heli as shown in the pictures. There is a reading on the RMP monitor of the Ikon but its not correct. Any ideads would help.
