Hi all,
Both Ingo and I will be at the field on Sunday (14/3/10) for most of the morning.
For those that are unaware both Darren and Kieran won't be at the field this weekend - gone away playing with jets.

Colin,
Ingo currently has your plane and H/city order as he was thinking of going down to the field last Saturday.
He will be at the field this Saturday (13/3/10) until 10am to open up the gates for those that want to fly, so please advise him of your intentions so that he doesn't take them down to the field unnecessarily.

I tried, unsuccessfully, to negotiate some field time last night. I was almost please when I heard a spatter of rain on the roof but woke up to clear blue skies and not a puff of air. I've been grumpy all day .

Hopefully, the weather will hold out for me to get tot he field soon.

We had beautiful weather on both days at Cudal, The F15 didn't fly but we did alot of testing and found a few bugs to be fixed. I think I secretly impressed a few of the Jet flyers with my Skyfun outrunning a few jets! It was very interesting to fly in such a wide open space its quite disconcerting at first as you find yourself easily flying very far away from yourself but the conditions were perfect so I was happily turning the skyfun into a spec and getting it back all weekend. Was also great to setup a nice low pass along the deck a few hundred meters out and power along for AGES! It was an expensive weekend for a few as a large F4 Phantom had an elevator failure on Saturday and a equally impressive F18 had a radio failure today. Both planes wreckage came back as tinder in plastic bags! Total write offs!

Have a few photo's to develop and a small vid of the F15 taxi-ing, will be up later.

Its good to hear that the Funjet gave those guys with there snazzy great looking and beutiful flying jets a a head down and think shit i thought my jet was fast .
Sounds like you guys had alot of fun too, Looking forward to some snaps and clips to view.

im already hooked on edf's rob, ive decided to keep the pc9 for when i can afford to build it like a power house like darrens but im taking prop planes off my buy list and im seeing the world thru ducted glasses!

honestly tho i have fallen in love with the turbines also, i could not take myself to watch darrens jets cause i know what would happen(second mortgage)..

this is the jet flight i saw the other day that represents everything i love about flying RC , i love this model and i seriuosly love the way this guy flies!ive seen trickier vids and fancy moves but this is top gun style for mine!!

I won't be down tomorrow as We're looking after Ryan (Kev's son)
and going to take him to get his soccer outfit.
