Pylon racing at Pittown Last sunday of this month

It's on again !!


NSW pylon is having a race day at Pittown

"Sir Charles Kingsford Smith Model Aero Club"
Pittown bottoms rd Pittown.

Electric classes will be
HK fun fighters ie Rarebears,
EFXs
EF1 class

IC classes will be
Q-500
F400

Practice is possible on Saturday after lunch, bring something, anything, along to fly at what is one of the best fields in the country (second only to PRCAC's McCoy park)

Racing is on Sunday!!

Come along bring your race planes and get amongst it !!
Bring along anything and I promise it will be fitted into a class !!
Have a go at the most fun and exciting Model aircraft competition there is.

Do some time keeping get involved see how it's all done

Seriously it's worth it, just to hear one of Micky T's stories.

Directions to the field are as follows:

Go west along Windsor road until you get to the McGrath's Hill pub and take a right follow that down until you get to Pittown Bottoms rd take a left (the turn off is just before the golfcourse) Follow Pittown Bottoms road down amongst the turf farms until you get to an orange shed on the left hand side and there should be a sign saying "Sir Charles Kingsford Smith Model Aero Club" turn left into the gate and follow the road down to the flying field. It's pretty easy to find.

Practice when well. Seeing Col James fly his big prop turbine was very impressive!
