A change of pace- R/C cars
#1

Hi guys,
for those of you who don't know, I also dabble in R/C cars. I race on Friday nights at the old Riverstone meat works in a spec. class called VTA (Vintage Trans Am).

VTA uses the old Muscle Car bodies from the '60's and '70's, wheel/tyre combo's that look like the Dragway and Centre Line mags that were all the rage on hotted up cars in the old days. And IMO these guys bring a character/nostalgia to the track.

Because I've had a couple of Valiants in my day and am a Chrysler man deep down, my body of choice is the Plymouth 'Cuda. Here are some that I've painted, the graphics are water slide decals that I made with my printer and go on the inside of the body before painting

Nice work Towelly !!
It's great fun and not easy to push those machines fast around that track !!
I had a great time the Friday evening that we went out there !!

“The knack of flying is learning how to throw your machine at the ground and miss.”

"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your thoughts turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."  ~Leonardo Da Vinci
