I’m just setting a few things up with ELRS at the moment.
I’m using Ardupilot and 5 is usually the flight mode channel but it’s easy enough to map to another.
Normally use throttle -100 and full left for 2 seconds to disarm and full right to arm.
I can easily set up channel 5 to follow that with some logical functions
