We fly at McCoy Park and that's quite a long drive from Bondi. If you're looking for a club to fly with, it might help to look at the Australian regional forum on www.rcgroups.com where there's a list of MAAA affiliated clubs and you might find one that doesn't involve so much travelling.

I have no problem at all with electric although I am hoping you are OK with Pushers / Prop in Slot designs as I have really got in to Scratchbuilding and have got 3 pushers.
Not a deal breaker if not - but nice to know.
