Wow. Nice pics. Kind of explains why the strip is always under water following heavy rain. No matter what was done after WW2 to re-route the creek, Mother Nature still decides where she wants to fl...

I've got both the Mini and the Swift. Great cameras. There's also a Micro out now which is useful for indoor quads. Haven't tried that one yet.

Rob - at the time I flashed it, it was around September last year so it would have been around 2.6 of Betaflight. My son doesn't fly this quad very much any more so we haven't upgraded it to 3.01 yet...

Ps I have the FatShark Dominator HD3's and they're awesome, but for eyesight issues the standard Dominator V3's would be better as my son has these and they are easier to focus.

Bob, they have to use 25mW because it's technically illegal to use any more than that in Australia, although I believe if you have a HAM license you nay be exempt (I'm not 100% sure of the HAM license...

Bob - I buy mine from the Australian warehouse, they stock a pretty good range. Postage-wise, it's much cheaper. Also, sea freight is pretty slow. Is there a battery that you are looking for that ...

Travis Grindal has a good video on YouTube regarding flashing CleanFlight onto a CC3D. BetaFlight is flashed much the same way.

I've upgraded a few CC3D's to BetaFlight. It's not that hard, and if you stuff it up, you can always go back. I know this because I stuffed it a few times. Eachine don't use custom firmware so ...

Bob, That means it needs a firmware upgrade. Use LibrePilot instead of OpenPilot. Just start the wizard and it will take care of it for you, it really is simple, don't try and do things manually. ...

Stick (aka rubber ducky) antennae should be thrown in the bin and NEVER used for FPV. You want a skew planar (4 leaf) for the goggles/VRX and either skew planar or clover leaf (3 leaf) for the VTx....

I totally agree Rob. Unless you're savvy enough to source a replacement battery and support the machine yourself when the inevitable issues come about, you're better off with a cheap netbook type o...

I agree with Simon (the other Simon!) - a cheap laptop is a better option as they are tougher. Having said that, I use a Microsoft Surface Pro in the field, which is a tablet, but that's only because...
