Hi Glen
As far as I am aware there is actually no minimum age limit for flying RC aircraft.
But the regulations require that before anyone can fly unsupervised they must passed as competant by a certified instructor.
Joining a club is the best way to safely learn the skills to enjoy fly RC aircraft.
Hope this helps

The field is slowly recovering from last weeks deluge.
There may be e few down there today, but no one has posted re flying today.
The strip is still very damp and will probably only cope with hand lanching until the weekend.
Driving in will be a no, no.
