advice for dealing with a fast plane - jonahailsa - 17-10-2011

I'm in advanced middle age and most of my planes are on the slow side. I'm the 3D guy among my park-flying pals. My planes just loiter around in the air. My fastest planes are my Formosas and (amazingly) my EasyStar. I'd guess these planes do sixty or so on a good day.So I got this notion to build me a rc aiplane, which appears to be about the same as the Aeroworks

version. I love the looks of this thing. I want to try my hand at a seriously fast plane. It's gonna have much higher wing loading than anything I've flown

so far, and that could be a problem. When I was new to the hobby, I used to stall out my planes all over the place.

The plane is a pusher prop configuration, with smallish wheels. It's got a tricycle gear configuration with steerable nose wheel. Hand launching is out of the question.

So... words of advice? Other than, keep it moving, smartly?

It seems jonahailsa is a spammer. Get this dude out of here and delete the threads. Has to be a bot of some description as this user is banned on so many forums it couldn't be a person.
