heh.. 6s... think bigger! Smile

8s is the standard, im toying with a 10s configuration at this stage, depends on the fan i pick tho, looking at the 11 bladed stumax fan which may want too many amps so the twin 5s batts would need to stay at 5000mah which would be too much , if i can get reasonable flight times out of 4000's it will be 10s though.. looking at say 1100 ish kv on 10s else stay the 1400 kv mark but 8s..

the L39 was the second kit by jet teng so dads kit has rudder pre cut, mine needs to be manually cut.. but yes there will be knife edges Smile

mine is:
length: 1320mm
ws: 1110mm

dads is:
length: 1380mm
ws: 1075mm

they are 1/9th scale. full retracts with oleo struts the lot, and expensive as hell so im kinda half in trouble for spending so much.. but hey forgettabouttit.... Smile its xmas! Smile

edit: for the record, im wanting 260+ kph , guy on youtube posted a 284kph on an 8s setup..
