Power Supply - wmarkman - 01-10-2017

Hi everyone, my apprentice s15e arrived with an 11.1v 3 cell LIPO charger, but no power supply. Do you have any recommendations?

Hobbyking has a lot of types, depending on how much you want to spend and how many batteries you want to charge at the same time

Can you please confirm that the charger pictured below is the one which came with your model?

It should have written on it what input it needs eg 12V or 240V. What input socket does it have?

You can stick it on your car battery and charge it that way. You may power it using a conventional car battery charger. Otherwise you can power it from any DC source with an output voltage of between 10.5-15V and a current capacity of 3-amps or more. This is an example of something that is cheap but would do the job.

If none of the above options suit then I would suggest taking Barry's second suggestion and grabbing one of these, which connects directly to mains power.

Hope that helps.

I got one of those b6 imac... my first charger and still using it, they'll get the job done done and can also be sc powered... car battery at the field. There are a number of knockoff versions on ebay and the like... most are fine but you take the risk.
