Can I fly here? - Dadukeofoz - 26-05-2017

Ok. So we like to fly at the field. It's s a safe place for us to enjoy our past time.
By our little field isn't the only sky we can use.
This app is produced by CASA

https://www.casa.gov.au/droneapp

It's aimed at the drone pilots but is also suitable for rotorheads and plankers.
Get it. Use it. Biggrin

Just keep in mind our MAAA insurance only covers us at flying fields however.
Also fun to note our field is in a absolute no don't fly here zone! We are however cleared with CASA to fly there.

Hahaha ... I've come down a number of times now. Though I'm usually there PM as Saturday mornings is dad's taxi.
I was there last fortnight, brought my little dinosaur B400 for its first flight at the park. 10s into the fight after the run up ... blew the tail rotor housing ...
Rebuilding is the word of the day

Doh! but hey thats part of the fun... right!?!? Sat PM usually has a lower number or no people down, Sat and Sun mornings are the best for meeting people. Keep coming down you'll meet up.
