UAV risks to manned aircraft - robbo - 15-03-2016

FAA require aircraft operators greater than 250g to register with FAA. CASA may follow FAA, and I have already seen noise about this in the media. This would apply to most of us plane or quads. Look at this article for some science on assessment of the risks.

OMG they are worried about Bird Strikes but don't care that just about every household has guns !!!

I 'm not sure the comparison adds up, a bird is not a Bird. Carrying potentially explosive lipo's could make a different.
