Selling ASW 28 Glider 2.5m.
This is the 2.5m wingspan, in good condition. Clear canopy cracked at plugs but still goes on fine. Does fly ok, but not something I have got used to, needs a bit of trimming, but glides very well when floating. Complete in box, I have the winglets in the box, just never added them. Will include OrangeRX 6ch DSM/x.

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/asw28-v2-ele...m-pnf.html (note I am selling a v1, not this v2).

$90

Ah, the never ending discussion on RC Simulators.. Realflight vs Phoenix vs others

For planes I am currently using clearview, which served me well thus far.
Now thinking of an upgrade to either Phoenix or Realflight.
Any recommendations ?

For fpv quad racing I am using Freerider, works well but the calibration to my DX8 is difficult to get right. I suspect it is due to my interface cable, planning to ditch the cable and go for this : https://hobbyking.com/en_us/dsmx-dsm2-pr...ongle.html )

Cheers,

Dirk.

Here it is a good old fashioned write off!

I believe it was a loose elevator linkage glued carbon to plastic dating back 8 years to the original yellow Ultimate.
A new red one is on the way thanks to my wife.
It was good to see so many on the last day of the year.
Indoor I believe is next Wednesday.

Gday Fellow RC'rs
I am currently actioning a big tidy up of my surplus RC gear.
Testing and collating is currently underway.
I expect to be posting tomorrow morning sale items such as multiple ESC's Spektrum DSM2 receivers and a heap of lipo's. I also expect an aircraft or two to be in the mix.
All will be at red hot prices to clear asap.
If you require anything specific in the bits and bobs category let me know as I also have heaps of props, cables, servos, foam wing cores and a multitude of anything and everything.
Can deliver to field if required, inspections welcome.
Cheers
Rob B

Well this is a bit of fun !!
My Eflight shoestring, set up for EF1 pylon. It's been recovered in the infamous red white and blue colour scheme. I couldn't believe how heavy the factory covering was between removing that and the pilot which was solid cast it lost a 1/4 of a pound in weight.

Well flown it would be a competitive model in the EF1 pylon class which by the way is coming up in a couple of weeks.

It hasn't done a lot of racing as I mostly fly q-500 class but it is a great model, flies nicely and is quite slick when it comes to putting on the pace. It is in excellent A1 condition ready to race or fly as quick sports model.

Comes with a good quality spectrum receiver all ready installed and if you part with 200 you can have 3 2600 lipo packs to go with it.

It also has a castle creations 75a esc and the motor is the Eflight pylon motor made for the class. It also has been fitted with nice Hitech servos.

Here it is racing at maitland

Here is the test flight the elevator was set with a bit too much travel once I backed it off .......perfect !!

Here is a project for someone. Alas time and space doesn't allow for this one either.

I was sure I was going to get time to repair this but I didn't in the last 12 months so it must go. I've got a full years worth of building Large scale race planes so this one is going really cheep.

The airframe is free basically it's up for only the second hand price of the gear.

It comes with G160 motor that has had the windings potted, the magnets grouted and been carefully balanced. This is a mighty and bullet proof electric motor!! It has a really good ESC no timing issues just sheer grunt.

It has all the 10Kg digital metal gear servos in place good hardware and set up nicely.

Comes with an FRsky telemetry RX so you don't have to worry about battery monitoring. It runs happily on 12S or 10S if you like, it can hover no probs at all and it's a great aerobatic machine with no nastiness about the way it flies!

Here's the catch it needs repair to the bottom of the fuselage after a hard downwind landing at Cowra a couple of years ago. I'm sure someone can get it flying again. I'd sure like to see it!!

For $120 it a bargain the box cost nearly half that to make.

This is how it is at the moment tucked away in its big foam box. I have a spare cowl for it as well.

Here's some video of it flying

$50 What a bargain concidering it comes with a Spectrum AR6100e receiver grunty ESC all servos ready to roar!!

Here we have one of the quicker varients of the venerable Skyfun jet

This one has had the canopy repaired after it came off and had a little encounter with the prop. It's all good now tho'. It has had the elevons replaced with wooden ones as this was a weakness with these machines.

Possibly the last go hard machine from back in the days when Samste, Gbanger, Kizza and my self went through a stage of throttle stick bending and high reving outrunners.

It can run on 3S but really sings with High C rated 1800 4S
