Interesting stuff Kev - where are you going to fly this?

Hi Steve,
Kevin and I are now members of Vineyard(HMAS) club.
As you probably know there is a heap of space out there and
all sorts of aircraft fly there.
The P61 twin engine night fighter that I bought at the beguinning of the year
is being fitted with twin 1.20 4 stroke engines and I'm also flying a .91 4 stroke
Pheonix Tiger 6 there.
One of the big advantages that we also have is that we can now build and fly turbine powered
aircraft on a weekly basis instead of having to wait until the odd time
a jet meet like Temora is on.
Paul
Yes PJ - that makes sense.
Bob Carpenter told KevB and I that we were welcome to fly out there a while back, so be prepared as we will probably lob in some time!

sounds good steve looking forward to catching up , sorry for deserting you guys in my quest for wingspan and exhaust fumes, I was thinking of applying to pemac (as a second field) as some of you did but unfortunately my intentions did not conform to their DB meter :P (nor can I afford two full club memberships)

Im thinking maybe I can pop down to prcac occasionally for visits still and just hook up someone with the customary mower fee payment Smile
There's no need for any apologising Kev - as your interests change, you move with them - no worries.
Of course you can drop by McCoy and have a fly ... although it might be a few weeks before we get it looking good again after the recent/current rain Wink
Keep a couple of your electric models stashed away for a non-rainy day!
Look forward to catching up with you at vineyard Steve.
How is Owen going? Is he flying these days?
Cheers Paul, sounds good.

Unfortunately, Owen has sold his transmitter and taken up all the distractions that are customary for an 18 year old ... cars, skateboards, booze, girlfriends, etc. I expect we'll see him again in 10 years or so Smile
