Fellow members

i've seen a few methods of securing clevis' on members planes, some with tubing and others with tape, many with none;
What do you prefer and what's best/safest?
I prefer fuel tubing - I've tried heat-shrink tubing, but it's too hard to get the heat onto it without damaging parts of the plane.

Fuel tubing is the go for plastic clevices. The metal clevices are usually so tight that need pliers to open them I don't use anything to retain them. Some metal clevices have locks on them as aditional security

I really like ball links all held together with nylock nuts or with normal nuts and a drop of Locktite 262 (super nut lock) to hold them in place.

Fuel Tubing or fish tank air tubing. Simply cut stretch and fit. Very simple, easy, cheap and super effective. Love the stuff.
