Thanks Steve. It's definitely a good looking plane. just have to think a little bit more about it.

Would definitely suit my style of flying and very visible. However the fact that its wings are 62 inches, just the same as my Frontier, would be a pain to store into the car to transport.

Nonetheless thanks for attracting my attention to it.

Regards

Wow i love the color Scheme absolutely Awsome, Edf needs a Revamp. Though 70mm 10 blade Change Sun will Fix That Wink
Very Nice !!!!!!
I must be missing something here.
Apart from the colour scheme what makes that Habu
any different from the original one?
Pre cut flaps and moulding for flap servo's and e-tract ready moulding
yea true, but lots of people have already done it with
the original. Do you think it's worth buying another one just to
have these features?
Yeps but the retract mod is a bitch, The airframe only version of this will come without paint in white so it will be a great platform for your own liveries
Just a Heads Up these are normally out of Stock and come and go quickly.

$110 Delivered i guess is ok for PlugNFly

Leaders Hobby Arf Version when it was on sale for $25 1/2 price is not bad.
I have Noticed they tend to throw in specials on the website sometimes to general items and offer them at very low prices and then put them back to original prices once stock depletes.

This will Give the Rare Bear a Run For Its Money with a whopping 80 esc running 4s lipo with a 3500kv motor turning a 4.75 prop

My old Skyfun setup was running a 3500kv with 80 amp esc and a 6x5 prop with 3s and 4s you could run 5x5 prop,

Gazz this would be the same setup you have on your propped Skyfun but this baby will be alot lighter and sleeker in the air.

I so sad i missed out on it, its on backorder already.

Steve
I also have some Aerotech solid fuel rocket motors that you could shove up the back of it too - they've a short burn-time but your boost would be a show-stopper!

Now that would be cool to do Icon_twisted

Steve

Of course it would.... right up until the foam caught fire.... then it would be anything but cool............ get it!

Looks like a sweet ride though Steve.... its on my HK wishlist already
STEVE ................. check this out !!!
I know you lost your favorite glider some time ago and have been looking for a replacement.
A mate from work, that is a 3D aero nut that gets backing from ALIGN has had one of these for a few weeks now and says, for a foamy it is off its friggin guts.... he recons it will give a lot of top end hotliners a run for their money and then some.... I will be ordering one soon.
Upgrade the ESC and bump it up to 4S and lookout
Check out the mega Carbon struts throughout the entire airframe.
Even if its half as good as he says the price is "fully sick bro"

I've got a 60 size 163 fusalage, it's moulded epoxy glass and has all the pannel lines and other scale detail. It's pretty light as well. Doug Owen and I made the mould some years ago and I'm pretty sure he still has the mold.
I was, back then, keen to make a hybred rocket engine for it one that I could throttle. when I say throttle probably switch between either idle or max power, but that would be enough.

Odd thing is, it's now against the law to mix your own solid fuel for rocket engines, but liquid fuel or hybred fuel are fine to make and opperate. Tho' I some how think, they might be even more interesting (read dangerious). Especially when you begin using cryogenic oxidisers.

Fire up ze liquid oxygen plant

On wiz ze helmut, Stand vell bach und light ze fuse und Hmmm maybe cloze ze ears allzo!! Smile

I like the look of this... http://sydneyrcjets.com.au/rc-edf-jets-7...-pnp-p-411 I'm guessing it's foam but it doesn't say. Anyone know?

I got too many unbuilt planes at the moment, so... just looking... Rolleyes

Met 163 Komet

Just Got Mine delivered, Very disappointed all hinge surfaces are cracked and falling off, Cheap brittle Foam, Paint peeled in spots.Rudder was totally broken off.
Impulse Buy
Will Try and give it some attention to make it ok.
I'm Suprised by the Reviews people are saying its awsome and havent heard of any complaints about it except cog getting Right..

Steve

nor me. The mCPx is fine for indoor. Probably a good heli for newbies but the price looks a bit on the steep side.

Somebody cocked up the new product description - I received this via email today. I'd love to see how you handle the torque roll with this using a 15 size motor and I can't wait to see who first completes a successful flaps and retracts upgrade Wink
