Have you seen this great RC model of the
"Galloping Ghost" P51 that is modelled after that late great
display machine which met a sad demise at Reno Last Year?
This model is IC powered but boy what a sound..........Smile
Wish I could make an electric sound like this.

By the way ...Whats missing from this mustang???

Did you notice the air scoop is missing from under the wing?
Fantastic sound ... and it hasn't been dubbed? - that's really what is sounds like? If that hasn't actually been faked then it's absolutely superb, unbeatable!

(Apart from 6 x Browning machine guns ... the radiator below the fuselage is missing and it sure looks odd without it.)
Don't think it's dubbed Steve.
He is another video of it

I love the sound
Yes, I see what you mean PJ - wow, would love something like that!
Definitely a multi-cylinder engine at least 4 I reckon.

Great sound!!

All you need is one of these to bolt in your plane

G'day Jason

That's a very nice piece of engineering there.
Very cool and very expensive I would imagine.
Seems to be able to spin that HK 13*8 4 blader quite handily.
What is the diameter of the prop, looks like 3.5 to 4ft?
Mien gott....

Cheers

Here's some info on the earlier air cooled engine they made.

I think you can buy the plans for it but I reckon it's gonna be a mission in machining !!
A real adventure Smile
