First in best dressed. No problem. you can help me work out what motor, ESC, Battries and other bits we need to get both of them flying.. Area51 is the best place for Jets.
Gday George

No worries, we should consult the resident jet jockeys re good fans etc for this baby.
There is plenty of 90mm jet action occurring at the moment within the club so I expect we will have lots of good info.
There is a 90mm EDF thread in the "general" section of the website. Will visit there in due course.

Cheers

Becareful of A51 and jets, last jet i saw there sucked up a rock into the intake and smashed the fan. Fortunately this jet didn't get off the ground. Albeit the intakes were behind the front wheel which kicked up the rock.

Agree for now but we hope sweeping it soon will clear most of the little pebbles. for now I use the smooth neball courts for takeoff and then land in the carpark with fan off on touch down.
If you manage to get FOD with an F86 intake, I think that'll be the least of your problems Wink

Darren was flying his with HET gear but that ended up being a bit much and resulted in the wing tips meeting in mid flight. Try and build em light but keep your wing spar as strong as possible.
G'day George

Just sms's you, where are you going to be today? A51 or mc coy.
Looking at the size of the box there is no way that is going to fit in my car!?

Cheers

It will fit on your back seat Rob. George brought it to the field today. McCoy was a bog. We flew at A51.
