Hi Guys,

New Gunfighter is all ready for maiden flight tomorrow.
Just have a quick question re "wing skids".
I bought some in the last HC order I want to put onto Gunfighter to protect
aileron servos and linkages.
Do I put them right next to each linkage? or is there a better place?
Logic tells me to put next to the linkages but don't want to glue them in and find out later
that they are in the wrong place.
thanks

Paul
comments listed on HK just suggest wingtips and fuse.. i guess it really comes down to the shape of your model dad, have them on lowest points of contact so as to protect the wing and linkage i guess, could actually fit these on funjet so i can land on concrete.. hmmm..

side note, i guess definately make sure the spots you have them have no way of digging in if they are near linkage especially.. ie if it comes in alittle side ways or catches edge of grass it not going to rip out servos or linkages, you want to protect and not endanger Biggrin i would like to think if they needed to come out they could rip free withut taking stuff with them Wink
I had a good close look at the wings at rest on the ground
and they were in fact resting on the aileron linkage dependent on which way
wing was leaning..
I went and put the skids next to the linkages so that the wing now rests on the skid and
not the linkage.
Pretty sure that is how they are suppose to be.
Each skid has 2 prongs that push into the wing and I've only used the slightest
of silicone to hold them.
In the event of a hard landing I think they will be ok.
