You'd definitely look like the Instructor's instructor with one of those airline pilot's hats too Smile

Now that's flying............
Where can I get one? Smile

Too cool
I thought the car wash was pretty average however I was SOLD when I found out it even had a sign. That stuff gave me a good laugh, all well and good except I am currently on a peak hour train.

lol thats a cool one too Smile
Nice one Dave!

One night in 1974 I stayed over at a mate's place and he had one of these. We were flying control-line planes at the time on Cox 0.049 two-stroke motors and this was the first model heli of any type that I'd ever seen. I expected there to be a little jack underneath the boom which was pushing the whole thing up, but that wasn't the case - it was truly using its own rotors for motive power. At the time I thought it was fantastic ... but show any 13 year-old something like that today and they'd think it the height (depth?) of lameness. Spoilt little buggers ...

lol so true steve Smile
74 eh.. hehe i was ... sleeping in 74 ....

Don't worry mate - I'll save you a seat at the "50 Club" for when you get there Wink
I used to have something a little bit similar.
Instead of battery power it used a hand crank.
You would crank this handle furiously and the heli would lift off
and as you rotated the heli would follow.
State of the art back in the late 50's......................Smile
