Hi folks,
During my little holiday last week I took some video
footage using my HDVideo Camera. Same one that I used at Parramatta
Park on Australia Day.
Once again I ended up with just the first 3 or 4 short videos watchable and
the rest won't playback in either the camera or computer.
I'm wondering if it's the memory card I'm using. I'm using a 4Gb SD card as that's what
the instructions said to use.
I would like to try a SDHC card to see if this is the problem.
Does anyone have a spare card that they could loan me at the weekend just to try and
get more than 3 or 4 short videos watchable?
If I take say 6 or 7 short videos on the day and they all work then I would think I have
found the problem and then go and buy myself a new card.
thanks

Paul
I think I've got one somewhere to dig out, in the mean time, try running http://www.piriform.com/recuva on the card and see what it turns up.
Thanks Mate,
Downloaded the recova software but unfortunately
still no video. At the completion of each short video
I see a processing bar which goes from 0 to 100%.
All watchable videos reach 100% processing but all unwatchable
ones only go to about 40% and stop.
Don't know what the processing is but I imagine it's some sort of
metadata for each video file. This leads me to believe that it is the
memory card that is the problem, maybe it can't process the data quick
enough.
If you can find that spare card for the weekend that would be great as I
can see if the processing bar is working after each video.

Paul
