Sounds like a bit of fun
Gday Kevin do you reckon the island hopper will fly indoors there being a basketball court i assume its a big area and a lot of roof clearance.
Or i may have to invest in a mini 4ch cessna or make me a small delta wing plane with some foam.

Could be tight flying with the island hopper but fun to watch, a chance to practise your flying skills. The area of the room is the same as a basketball court plus a walkway down one side, height wise about three stories, there is a gallery down one side at the next level up so people can look down at the action (or launch gliders or paper aeroplanes). The idea is to evaluate the space and see what could be done with it. We have the space for 3 hours. Hope to see you there this Wednesday.

Sorry little confused are you flying this Wednesday 02/12 as well as next wednesday 9/12 or Next wednesday :?

I'm hoping the 9th is a goer. I would have liked to come this week (I'd negotiated Thursday Frown ) but we're doing the Magic Cave thing on Wednesday and coming flying would be too much for the boys on a school night.

I hope it goes well and you get a good crowd.

Drew

I shall be at indoor flying tomorrow Blade MCX will hopefully be airworthy by then. Its only 15mins from work so I'll come and fly then go to work!

INDOOR FLYING at UTS Lindfield this Wednesday 2nd Dec, all welcome.

The court is available from 6.05pm, not 6.30 as previously advertized. Any questions give me a call on 0407 653 846.

Ask for directions to the basketball court from Security at the front entrance ( enter bythe main entrance and turn right, the court is on that level).

Kevin

how did last night go guys? any pics of the place or flying machines?

Unfortunatley I had to run so I didn't get any pics but it was a nice space, only 1 basketball court but quite high, a few obstacles to do loops around Wink
Will probably get a p51 micro to tool around with if we go back more often.

Steve Lange managed to get a few photographs - it was a perfect space for the two PZ Vapours that SteveL and KevinB had there, no doubt about that. Unfortunately, it seems that the real rate is $45 per hour, rather than $45 for the evening, which might mean some re-negotiation, but that remains to be seen.
Cheers,
SteveM
