Gazz The strip is fine for flying though a little narrow due to water. Cutting the heli area makes a person dizzy. Pete

Just arrived home after cutting the weeds. Only did the strip. Stopped about 1.5 metres from the southern edge as time was way too short and tank was empty. Pete

Main strip with soft spots about 1/3 mowed with a chicane in front of the pilots box, taxiway and northern cross strip mowed with a few soft spots, helipad done. Car park still has water. Walk in only...

Main strip is mowed and firm enough except for Lake McCoy. I will bring the mower and everyone present will be able to have a go.

Field is in good condition being wet only at Lake McCoy. The water broke through the reads in just the right spot to wash away some of the fill at Lake McCoy but most of it seems to be still there.

Main strip is soft and 5 metres wide, tread lightly. All pilots please take something to put rubbish in from the field and take it home for your garbage bin.

Main strip is about 2/3 wide. Paspalum stalks spread thinly over field and I am unable to mow this week.

Field is soggy so Saturday is walk in, maybe Sunday too.

Hi Bob, last weekend was walk in and if it does not rain we should be able to drive in this weekend.

Road in is good. Parking area is excellent. Strip is beautiful.

Bob, battery sizes are usually given as length x width x height. Length is normally the largest number. In most cases width and height can be interchanged and the battery will still fit.

Found, small diameter wing joiner/dihedral brace. now in flight box, top left hand end.

If you need to use all the strip tomorrow bring a grass rake and big wheels.
