SOLD. Sorry Dirk. You missed by 15 minutes mate... Sorry.

The man cave is chockers with all of my planes and drones and I just don't get down to the field any more. So feel free to benefit from my space problems... I am selling:

1. Durafly Trojan

This was my favourite fixed-wing. It's got retracts. It's got flaps. It's fast but flies really nicely with the flaps down too. It handles beautifully. Beats the hell out of the Parkzone competitors. Those who remember me from the days I flew at the club would remember this plane...

I've replaced the servos with metal-geared servos for improved performance and reliability. The front landing gear has the metal trunnion mod for much more rugged performance.

2. Durafly Mustang "Old Crow"

Great, quick plane. Flies on 3S and 4S. It's got flaps and retracts. This one needs some work which is why it's cheap. I wrote off my original Mustang on the power lines but one of the members (Chris McCarthy) kindly sold his fuse/wing to me, so I'm combining all the parts here.

I've also got a heap of spares to go with these planes.

- Wing and h/stab for the Mustang (brand new, these used to cost a fortune in freight from HobbyKing)
- Several sets of landing gear and brand new retracts
- Spare wheels including foam ones
- Spare Mustang canopy
- 4 x spare Trojan props, 2 of which are new
- 1 new Mustang prop and 3 2-bladed ones
- 1 new T-28 nose cone
- Plus the bits you see in the pictures - motors, gear bays, firewalls, spinners, all sorts of stuff. I might even have some spare servo's for the Mustang.

I need to sell these soon as I desperately need the room. Asking $200 for the lot. Located in Croydon Park (near Ashfield/Strathfield/Burwood).

  Club BBQ and Open Club Day

Hello all, I've just made up a flyer to put in Ultimate Hobbies today to inform people of our Club Open Day and BBQ on the 20th January. I'm sure it's to everyone's OK.
Also, do you think that we can do a swap meet on this day as well? What are your thoughts???

G'day all,

Please be advised that (weather permitting) we will be hosting the second round of the summer fpv drone racing series at the PRCAC field at McCoy Park on Sunday the 3rd of December (Sunday week).

Normal club flying operations will be suspended and replaced by a series of organised heats which will run throughout the day from 9am in the morning until approximately 4pm in the afternoon. Click here for more information.

I expect that we will have at least a few PRCAC members competing at this event. Anyone with even a small interest in fpv or quad racing is encouraged to come down and check it out. These event attract upwards of 30 active pilots and their friends, every one is really friendly and it is a great way to learn more about the hobby.

Reminder to all members and visitors that on the 8th October 2017 (Sunday), PRCAC will be hosting a FPVR.org racing round from 8am.

This event helps support our club so members will appreciate that there will be no normal club flying during the event from 8-4pm. If you do want to fly that weekend suggest you get down on the Saturday... unless you want to race on Sunday Wink

Anyone know where i can get a Parkzone trojan pnf locally, i gave mine away many years ago to a club member and miss having one as its a great throw in the air flier.
I know i have a fms trojan but wanting a smaller t28

model flight has them but expensive (eflite branded bnf but)

  Large scale Pylon Racing

Large scale Pylon racing is on again 19th and 20th of September at Bendigo

This is a fantastic event if your able to get to it or any of the other race days during the year. Seriously It's just a must for anyone who really loves seeinging big scale models fly. I'd go as far as to say it's pretty close to Aero modelling heaven.

There's another large scale race meeting in Canberra later this year which is a little closer to Sydney.

There is simply nothing like seeing four beautifully prepaired 80 plus inch wingspan AT6 Texans go screaming past as they vie to complete the fastest 10 lap time.

Did I mention it's well worth going to one of these events ??

Sadly they might not continue for all that much longer due to lack of support so if you have the chance to go and see one don't let it pass you by. If you have the opportunity to put something together to race then there is a great and very helpful network of people to help you especially amongst the NSW guys. Post up, find out, you wont be disappointed.

Hello my name is Dashi. My Mum and Dad bought me a Cub for my 7th birthday. I would like to learn to fly it. I have flown it once with the help of my mum's friend. I would like to join your club and learn more.
I like to watch people fly their planes and try to fly my own plane.
